Flanker 4th of July, Forum Fest at Canyons Village, and Scion Cider Bar Fundraiser

Flanker and The Gateway are planning a memorable 4th of July. Forum Fest, a multi-day festival will be at Canyons Village July 3 through July 6. Scion Cider Bar will be raising money for Canines with a Cause on July 5.

America on Tap at Flanker

It’s time to make plans for the 4th of July and this year, Flanker Kitchen & Sporting Club is teaming up with The Gateway to offer the best view of the fireworks show on their patio, from 6-10PM.

Guests can celebrate Independence Day at Flanker Kitchen & Sporting Club’s “America on Tap” event featuring live music, fireworks, drink specials, and an extensive menu.

“Enjoy delicious food and old Americana crafted cocktails, and dive into a beer lover’s paradise with a wide selection of draft beers on tap. After the fireworks show at The Gateway, the fun will continue with live music by Matthew & The Hope Band. Flanker’s bartenders will be offering old Americana crafted cocktails, and specials on a wide selection of draft beers on tap.

Forum Fest at Canyons Village

Looking for a great getaway for the July 4th weekend? Consider dropping by Forum Fest in and around Pendry Park City. Set amidst the alpine backdrop of Canyons Village at Park City Mountain, Forum Fest is a multi-day festival taking place from Wednesday, July 3 through Saturday, July 6 and will feature live music and entertainment, fireworks and drone shows, public art displays, a variety of food and beverage options from local purveyors and bars and a dedicated kids’ zone for family fun.

This year’s festival will kick off with a headliner concert at The Forum Stage followed by three days of live music featuring local and regional talent such as Tim Snyder, Wolfgang Timber, Echo, and more. Along with dining at great Pendry restaurants like KITA and Dos Olas, forum fest will offer food and drink such as an Ice Cream Social on Wednesday by Shake Shack. In addition, there are numerous special deals for accommodations in and around Canyons Village for folks who’d like a weekend getaway with lodging specials at Pendry, Yotel Pad, and others. Canines With a Cause at Scion Cider Bar

At Scion Cider Bar you’ll find 20 taps of craft & artisan ciders from around the US & the globe, plus wines & local beers, spirits & cider cocktails as well as cheese and charcuterie, bar snacks, and artisan tinned seafoods called conservas.

And, on Friday July 5th Scion Cider Bar will go to the dogs for their Friday FUNdraiser. They say, “Join us on the holiday weekend to celebrate the work of a non-profit organization that provides veterans with service dogs! There will be members of Canines with a Cause present, plus plenty of swag & giveaways for those that participate in the fundraiser drawings!”

Canines With a Cause uses the untapped potential of shelter dogs to heal emotional and psychological wounds of veterans. The Canines With a Cause fundraiser begins on Friday at 6:00 pm.

Originally trained as an anthropologist, Ted Scheffler is a seasoned food, wine, and travel writer based in Utah. He loves cooking, skiing, music, and reading, and spends an inordinate amount of time tending to his ever-growing herd of guitars and amplifiers.
