Stop the Polluting Port Organizing Meeting
Monday, March 25
Sweet Library, 455 F Street, SLC

A new study estimates that the number of people who die from air pollution is actually double what previous estimates have been. The study focused on the population in Europe but extrapolated the data to the rest of the world.
This obviously only magnifies the legitimacy of our concerns about all the pollution issues in Utah – including the inland port, gravel pits, diesel emissions, fossil fuel extraction, wood burning, etc. Air pollution is not just a theoretical health hazard – it actually kills people.
