What’s Happening in June 2024 in Utah

Dogs at the park, Pleasant Grove Strawberry Days, Juneteenth celebration, food, races, and Hawkwatch this June.

June 13

Yappy Hour at Fairmont Park. Bring yourself and your four-legged friend to Fairmont Park, 1040 E Sugarmont Dr, for an evening full of dogs, live music, activities, and more. Held from 6pm to 9pm and will include a large off-leash area. All ages are welcome and admission is free. 

June 15-23

Pleasant Grove Strawberry Days. This is Utah’s longest running festival and will celebrate 103 years in 2024. Events include a car show, carnival,chalk the block, community art show, concerts, fireman’s pancake breakfast, free family swim, garden tours, concerts, rodeo, and more. 

June 16

Juneteenth Father’s Day Car Show. The car show will be featured on Historic 25th Street from 12pm to 6pm. Featuring music, food, a Juneteenth, Father’s Day Barber Battle and Cars. 

June 20

Hawkwatch Bird of Prey Show at Alta. This interactive and educational event in conjunction with Hawkwatch International allows participants to observe birds of prey in action as experts share the important roles the birds play in local ecosystems and how to help conserve them. Held from 1-2pm at Alta Town Park in conjunction with Hawkwatch International and Alta Environmental Center. Additional dates on July 25 and August 15. 

June 22

2024 Savor the Summit. This event, on Park City’s Historic Main Street, is presented by the Park City Area Restaurant Association. This is a big, outdoor dinner party offering a celebration of food, drink, and live music. Park City’s best restaurants will showcase their culinary talents in an open air community event. Reservations can be here.

June 22

Bears Ears Ultra in Monticello. Races include a 30K, 50K, and 50 Mile, Races are hosted in the Abajo Mountains and the course has views overlooking Canyonlands National Park and Bears Ears National National Monument. Packet pickup starts at 4:30am. Pre Register at the website.
