Activities and Events June 2022

Here is a short list of fun activities and events during June 2022 in Utah.

June 10-11

Kokopelli Relay. This is a bicycle relay from Moab to St. George. A member of each team must be in the saddle at all times while the rest of the team rests and refuels. With a total distance to 530+ miles over and through some of the most scenic landscapes in Utah, including two national parks, the race starts at Grand County High School, 608 Fourth E St. in Moab and finishes at Unity Park in Ivins, Utah, near St. George. Teams will consist of 4 to 8 cyclists unless otherwise approved. Click here for more information. 

June 11-19

Pleasant Grove Strawberry Days. This Is the longest running community event, going on 101 years. Events include a car show, carnival, concerts, fireman’s pancake breakfast, parade, pie eating contest, strawberries and cream, and more. Visit Strawberry Days for more information. 

June 18

Birdhouse Exhibit at the Ogden Nature Center, 966 West 12th Street. See this year’s display of birdhouses and their permanent collection along the Birdhouse Trail. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for children. Members are free. 

June 20

Salt Lake Juneteenth Celebration & Black Owned Business Expo. This celebration marks emancipation and the end of slavery in the U.S. This free community event will showcase Utah’s entrepreneurial diversity and will include a Black-owned business expo, black artist exhibit, entertainment, roller skating and more. Held at The Gateway, 18 North Rio Grande from noon to 10pm.

June 24-25

Salt Lake City Busker Fest 2022. This street festival celebrates the city’s history with the living tradition of busking and street theater. Held on Main Street and Regent Street from 6pm to 10pm on June 24, and 4pm to 10pm on June 25. This event is presented by the Salt Lake Art Council in partnership with the Downtown Alliance Open Streets Initiative. This is a free event, open to the public, and vehicle traffic will be shut down.
