What to do during March 2022 in Utah? Here is a short list of activities and events: St. Patrick’s Day celebrations, Spring Beer Fest and more

January Through April

Downtown Farmers Market—Winter. Continuing on Saturdays through April 23rd, the market is held at The Gateway, 10 N Rio Grande Street, Salt Lake City. The market includes locally grown and produced produce, meat, eggs, cheese, baked goods, sauces, condiments, chocolate, and more. Hours are from 10am to 2pm. 

March 12

42nd Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Siamsa (Celtic Festival). Presented by The Hibernian Society at The Gateway, 18 North Rio Grande St.The parade starts at 11am followed by events and booths with food and entertainment. 

March 12 – 15

Skinny Tire Festival. This four day bike festival rides Arches National Park, along the Colorado River, to Dead Horse Point State Park and back. Find more information here.   

March 17 

Pruning workshop at Ogden Botanical Gardens. Master gardeners will demonstrate pruning techniques for woody plants.  The gardens are located at 1750 Monroe Boulevard, OgdenTickets are $5 and can be purchased here.  

March 19 

Spring Beer Fest 2022. Featuring the best craft beers in Northern Utah and highlighting local brewers and producers, this event is held at Union Station in Ogden at 2501 Wall Ave. Spring Beer Fest is ticketed and hosted by the Ogden Downtown Alliance. Admission tickets are $20 and include 3 tokens for pour and one $5 food voucher. Must be 21+ to attend. 

March 26

Mountains to Marsh 50M Adventure Race. Held in Richmond, this race includes a 29-mile road cycle from Cherry Peak to Benson Marina, followed by a  6 mile canoe/kayak to Cutler Canyon Marina, then a 13.6 mile run to Cache Junction. Register here
