Utah Stories’ Made in Utah Festival

August 5th thru 12th: Summit County Fair. Highlights include a demolition derby, rodeo, entertainment, pie baking contest, and parade. Visit here for more information.

August 9th thru 12th: Weber County Fair: “Dancing With the Steers.” Open from 11am to 10pm daily at The Golden Spike Event Center, 1000 N 1200 W, Ogden, Utah.

August 12th and August 15th: Krishna’s Appearance Day Celebration. On August 12th at the Spanish Fork Krishna Temple, 8628 S. State Road, Spanish Fork, Utah, and August 15th at the Salt Lake Krishna Temple, 965 E 3370 S, Salt Lake City. The festivals feature mantra music, kirtan, drama, classical Indian dance and food. August 12th thru September 30th: The Helper Project presents Nest: Women Artists of Helper. This exhibit will be held at the amjworks Gallery on 167 S Main Street in Helper, Utah.

August 14th: Mondays in the Park: Tango West sponsored by Chase Home Museum of Utah Folk Arts. Learn the Tango from Brian Salisbury from 7pm to 9pm at Chase Home Museum of Utah Folk  Arts, 1150 S Constitution Drive, Salt Lake City. Free admission.

August 17th thru 20th: Helper Arts, Music, and Film Festival at 69 S Main Street, Helper, Utah. The festival features artists, dance, music, and food. Click here for more information.

August 19th: Herriman Hold’em Half Run. The race starts at Juniper Crest Trailhead – 14852 S. Juniper Crest Rd., Herriman, Utah at 7am. Visit their website for more information or to pre-register.

August 26th: Utah Stories’ Made in Utah Festival. Held 11am to 9pm at The Gateway, 400 W 100 S, Salt Lake City. This festival celebrates local Utah with live music, food, breweries, distilleries, handcrafted and local goods. For more information visit our webpage.

August 31st thru September 11th: 25th Moab Music Festival. World-class musicians visit red rock venues around Moab for a feast of chamber music, jazz, Latin and traditional music concerts. Visit here for more information.
