May 11th: Excellence in the Community Concert Series with Better Off With the Blues at 7pm. The concert series is free to the public. For all dates click here.

May 11th: Yellowstone to Uintas Connection – Wildlife Migration Corridors. Presented by Wasatch Packtivists at the Salt Lake City Public Library, 210 E 400 S in Library Room B. This presentation is about the work to protect and restore wildlife corridors in Idaho, Utah and Wyoming. Admission is free

May 12th to May 13th: Red Butte Garden Plant Sale. Held on Friday, May 12th for garden members only, and from 1pm to 8pm and for the general public on Saturday, May 13th, from 9am to 3pm. Held at Red Butte Garden, 300 Wakara Way, Salt Lake City.

May 13th: 2017 Susan G. Komen of Utah Race for the Cure. This race benefits research for breast cancer. Registration for the race opens at 7am, with the survivor parade at 8:15am, with the race starting at 9am at Library Square. Find pricing and more information here.

May 13th: Heritage Festival 2017 at Union Station, 2501 Wall Avenue, Ogden. The Festival will be held from 10am to 5pm to celebrate Ogden and Weber County’s cultural heritage and community connection. Featuring all-day art and science activities, cultural performances, information booths, and food. Free admission to the public.

May 27th to May 28th: 25th Annual Moab Arts Festival with Beer and Wine Garden. Admission is free and the event will feature live music. This event hosts local and national artists welcoming residents and visitors from all part of the world. Hours on Saturday are from 10am to 7pm and on Sunday from 10am to 6pm. Visit .

June 2nd: Summer Reading Challenge Kickoff for Salt Lake County Library, from 6pm to 9pm at the Viridian Event Center and Veterans Memorial Park, 8030 W 1825 W. The theme for this year’s reading challenge is “Build A Better World.” Attractions will include performers, puppet shows, cookies, fun, face painting and more.
