5 of Ogden’s Best Restaurants

Visit Ogden and discover some great places to eat.

|

The restaurant scene in Ogden has gone through a drastic change within the past year or so. Many of the old classics remain, but new faces have popped up throughout the city to try their hand at impressing local taste buds. With that being said, it can be pretty tough to narrow down your options.

To help guide you in the right direction, we’ve compiled a list of our Top 5 restaurants in Ogden:

Restaurant 1107

fb_img_1471628184254-cpurtesy-of-restaurant-1107Perched high atop the historic Ben Lomond Hotel sits the perfect date night restaurant. The atmosphere is relaxed and classy, and the service is top notch. Fine American cuisine is the theme here, and 1107 hits the mark with ease. Each dish is delightfully tasty, and the sweeping views aren’t half bad either.

Rosa’s Cafe

This family-owned and operated café hasn’t been around long, but it’s already well known by locals. The traditional Mexican cuisine that Rosa is cooking up is on par with some of the best Mexican restaurants in the state. It may seem small initially, but this unsuspecting café packs a big punch.  13680742_1592149264422181_1385615319691771238_n

Bangkok Garden

10620625_535127669953236_2889368055480930523_nThis unassuming little Thai restaurant is tucked just off of Ogden’s Historic 25th street.  While it might look modest from the outside, the inside has an artsy-elegance to it and the scrumptious smells will guide you right to your seat. If you don’t leave here with a smile on your face, there may be something wrong with your taste buds.

Slackwater Pizzeria & Pub

Located within a stone’s throw of the Ogden River, this little pizza joint is a local favorite. With 21 uniquely delicious pizzas to choose from and a robust beer menu to boot, you’ll be hard-pressed to find a pairing that doesn’t strike your fancy. Add in the live music and cozy atmosphere, and it’s easy to see why this place is consistently jam-packed.  pizza1

Tona Sushi Bar

This Historic 25th street gem has it all: chic interior, relaxed/friendly ambiance, fantastic service, and phenomenally delicious food. They deserve all the accolades they’ve been given, and then some. One word of advice, I recommend calling ahead, because they fill up quickly.

While this list may help you get your feet wet, we recommend you try all of the local cuisine throughout Ogden. We had the difficult task of narrowing it down to our five favorites, but there are plenty of amazing restaurants that could make a strong case to be included in this list.

Whether you decide to take our advice or venture off on your own, we do hope you stop by soon to sample what Ogden is serving up.
