For more than 17 years, Branimir Drljaca and his family have been providing the ex-Yugoslavian community living in Salt Lake with foods that evoke pleasant childhood memories.

The small shop is jam-packed with European foods from all over Europe, from Milka chocolates to delicious smoked meats and foods that only an ex-Yugoslavian can crave, such as burek, tulumbe, cevapi, vegeta, sudzuk, argeta, and more.

Needless to say, most of the market’s customers are from the Balkans, and the four-employee team is proud to have served them for so many years.

At the beginning of the pandemic, the rush of people flooded to store trying to stock up on their favorite foods, but as most people became complacent about COVID-19, the flow of customers returned to pre-pandemic norms.

Because food is essential, Covid did not make much of an impact on the business. Some of the foods are hard to import, but the shop still offers most of the foods and articles it did before.
