July 2023 Activities and Events

There are plenty of things to do in Utah in July besides fireworks and parades. Check out the wildflowers at Albioin Basin, go to a concert in Murray, or explore Peruvian culture.

July 14

Weber County Dairy Days. Competitors from around Utah head to the Weber County Fairgrounds to show their prized animals. Admission is free and is held from 8am to 4pm at the Auction Arena Golden Spike Event Center/Weber County Fairgrounds, 1000 N 1200 W, Ogden

July 16

Wasatch Wildflower Festival. Enjoy the brilliant wildflower colors in Albion Basin at Cottonwood Canyons Foundation’s Wasatch Wildflower Festival at Alta. Join a guided hide and learn about the native wildflowers at Alta. The event is free but registration is required. Held from 9am to 1pm.

July 21

Peter Breinholt Concert. Part of the Murray Arts in the Park Evening Series, this event will be held at 8pm at the Murray Park Outdoor Amphitheater. General admission tickets are $20 and can be purchased in advance at murraycity.smashpass.com or at the Murray Parks & Rec Office, 296 E Murray Park Ave.

July 28-29

Mega Peruvian Festival at the Salt Lake City Public Library. 200 E 400 S. This free event is held each day from 12pm to 10pm. Celebrating Peruvian culture with folklore, arts, live music and authentic Peruvian food. 

July 29

Eagle Mountain Summer Bash and Laser Show. This is a free event starting with a Patriotic Kids Parade at 4pm at Corey Wride Memorial Park, 5806 Pony Express Parkway, Eagle Mountain. Kids of all ages are invited to decorate their scooters, bikes, skateboards, wagons, wheelchairs, and roller skates and join the parade. Other events include a pie eating contest, face painting, and music from the Trash Panda Drum Group. Hours are 4pm to 10:15pm
