Utah Film Center screening of Godzilla at the City Library downtown location, 210 E. 400 S. This film, from 1954, is considered a masterpiece of Japanese cinema. There will be a post-film conversation about, “the importance of Godzilla and its relevance to Utah’s own history with nuclear weapons tests and our population of “downwinders” in Southern Utah. The discussion will be held by a professor from the University of Utah’s film department and KUER’s RadioWest host, Doug Fabrizio.

Jazz at the Station. A free Jazz concert held at the Ogden Union Station Grand Lobby, 2501 Wall Avenue. This free concert will be held from 7pm to 8pm.

ISU Four Continents Short Track Speed Skating Championships. Held at the Kearns Olympic Oval, the “Fastest Ice on Earth”, 5662 Cougar Lane. Top skaters from North America, South America, Asia, and Africa will be competing.
November 11
West Jordan Veterans Day Program. This event will be held at the Viridian Event Center, 8030 S 1825 W. The program will start at 10:30am.
November 19
Dead Horse Ultra. Part of the Triple Crown of Moab, this race is one of the biggest trail running events in the country. The trail has views of Arches National Park, the La Sal Mountains, and Moab Valley. Visit here for more information and registration.

Third Saturday for Families at the Utah Museum of Fine Arts. Held from 1-4pm at the museum, 410 Campus Dr., Salt Lake City, explore Japan’s past in moments captured on paper and then stay and design your own set of prints.

Lights on! X96 Food Drive at The Gateway. This annual food drive with drive-thru donations is held at The Gateway from 7pm to 9pm as they turn on holiday lights for the season. Bring non-perishable food items or gift cards to The Gateway Olympic Plaza, 10 N. Rio Grande St. Featuring live music, hot beverages, fire pits, and more.
