The Miller Family, who has owned the Utah Jazz for the past 35 years is selling the Jazz Franchise to the Founder of Qualtrics, Ryan Smith.

Smith recently sold his tech company Qualtrics for $8 billion. He bought the Utah Jazz for $1.8  billion according to ESPN. Smith was behind the campaign 5 for the fight. He has had a long-standing relationship with the Miller family, and they trust that he will do well with the franchise. He is also purchasing the Vivint Smart Home Arena, the Salt Lake Bees, and the Utah Starz.

Smith is 44 years old and he still has about $5 billion to spend. Do you think he drives a Tesla? Or a Land Rover? He looks like a Tesla type of guy.

I’d like to have him on the show.
