Tallulah Gallery, a new art/design/craft gallery, has opened at 1354 S. 1100 E. in Sugar House.

Tallulah is owned and operated by sisters, Barbara Schovaers and Judy Green. According to Schovaers, “Tallulah offers a wide variety of handcrafted, beautifully designed contemporary art priced anywhere from $10 to $1,000. Our goal is to carry items that are unavailable in other Salt Lake area stores, and not readily available online.”

She added, “Tallulah will carry art of many different mediums including glass, metal, wood, textile and recycled materials. Customers will find unique hats, whimsical clocks, abstract wall hangings, colorful glass designs, unusual jewelry and much more.”

Tallulah store hours are Tuesday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. The store will be closed Mondays.
