June 2–September 16
Nature Connects—Art with LEGO® Bricks at Red Butte Garden. Inspired by nature and built from more than 450,00 LEGO® brick pieces, the Nature Connects® exhibition will feature 14 displays with sculptures that represent connections that sustain life on earth. Admission is free with Garden membership or regular Garden admission. Visit their website for more information.

June 8–9
Vision Relay—Road bicycle relay in Moab. The event starts at Swanny Park, 400 N 100 W, Moab and finishes in Ivins. Four-rider teams complete their legs, each riding non-stop over a 528 mile route. For more information visit here or call 801-888-3233.

June 8–10
Utah Scottish Festival & Highland Games. Celebrate Scottish culture at the Utah State Fair Grounds. Gates open at 5pm on Friday, June 8, with a general admission price of $15. Athletic events include Braemar Stone, Open Stone, Weight for Distance, Hammer, Sheaf, Weight over Bar, and Caber Toss. Scottish bands and dancers will be on hand as well as vendors and food venues. June 12
McCune Mansion Tours: Spend an hour touring this Capitol Hill mansion featuring imported roof tiles from Holland, white satin-grained mahogany from South America, and a room-sized mirror from Germany. Completed in 1901 and restored in 2001, the mansion is a showplace with ceiling murals and decorative border fashioned by a New York artist over two years. The tour starts at 10 and tickets can be purchased at their website for $10.

June 16
Bee Fest 2018: A celebration of pollination! Bees, butterflies, birds, and other pollinators and the flowers they love. Presented by Catalyst Magazine, Slow Food Utah, and Wasatch Community Gardens. Admission is free and hours are 9am to 2pm at Wasatch Community Gardens’ Green Team Farm – 622 W 100 S (just west of Gateway). Featuring expert workshops, arts, crafts, a plant sale, bake sale and honey tasting. For more information email contact@catalystmagazine.net.

June 16–24
Pleasant Grove Strawberry Days. Family friendly events at the longest-running celebration in Utah. Events include a car show, carnival, concerts, garden tour, rodeo, and parade. Visit the website for a full list of events and prices.

June 26
The World Famous Glenn Miller Orchestra in Ogden. Held at the Austad Auditorium, Val Browning Center at Weber State University in Ogden. The concert begins at 7pm. Tickets can be found on line from $24 – $44
