Still adorning the Eastern portion of au naurale is the “Best Restaurant” award from the Best of State. They won the “Best New Restaurant” award from City Weekly newspaper after spending a fortune in their newspaper on advertising. (Certainly to two correlating events are merely coincidental). But despite the accolades and awards au natural was lacking in just one important characteristic for success in the restaurant business: taste.

According to online reviews the food was just simply not good. The building was nice the atmosphere friendly, the logo looked great, the awards piled up and the financing was huge. But the food darnit. I guess we Salt Lakers are old fashion in that we still like our food good. Owners didn’t wish to comment on this story.
