Summer is Served at Tupelo
Tupelo Park City’s dog-friendly patio is now open for the summer with good vibes and great views. In addition, those like me – who love Chef Matt Harris’ fried chicken – will be thrilled to know that it’s back on the summer menu, along with other summer menu items such as sliced tuna with strawberries, mint, cucumber, chilis, Benne seeds, chives and citrus dressing; warm Maine lobster salad with macerated citrus, basil, mint, fried garlic and fresh herbs; roasted Idaho trout with tomato broth, andouille, spiced white beans, collard greens, and many more new dishes.
Market Street & Oyster Bar Closing
I was saddened to hear that one of downtown Salt Lake City’s most venerable institutions – Market Street Grill & Oyster Bar – is closing at the end of June.
The folks at Market Street posted an announcement saying, “After nearly 50 years of serving Salt Lake City, we share bittersweet news. Market Street Grill Downtown and Oyster Bar Downtown will close their doors permanently, with our final day of service on June 30, 2026.”
They went on to say that “We want to thank the thousands of guests who welcomed us into their lives and made us part of their traditions. Your support, loyalty, and memories have meant more than words can express.”
“While we say goodbye to our downtown locations, the Market Street Grill family continues. We look forward to serving you at our Cottonwood and South Jordan locations, which will remain open and continue the traditions you know and love.”
“As we approach our final service on June 30, we invite you to visit us one last time, share a meal, and help us celebrate the remarkable legacy we built together. Thank you for the memories. Thank you for the friendships. Thank you for nearly 50 unforgettable years.”

Form Fest Returns to Park City
Park City’s Forum Fest holiday celebration returns to Canyons Village Thursday, July 2 – Saturday, July 4. Set amidst the alpine backdrop of Canyons Village at Park City Mountain, the free multi-day festival will feature live music and entertainment, fireworks and drone shows, family-friendly activities, public art displays, a variety of food and beverage options from local purveyors and bars.
This year’s festival will kick off each day of music with DJs The Forum Stage, followed by live music at the Mountain Stage featuring local and regional talent such as Red Hot Tribune, Queen Nation, Jagertown, Shuffle and more.
But we’re interested in food and drink, right? Libations and culinary creations will be available at Umbrella Bar, Red Tail Grill, Murdock’s and The Farm at Canyons Village. In addition, the following food trucks will be in attendance at Forum Fest: Comp Donuts, Corn Dog Co., C&C Candies, Tina’s Bakery (empanadas), Domino’s Pizza, Sobe Eats (Mexican Rice Bowls), Collin’s 3T (dirty sodas) and Freshie’s Lobster Rolls.
