Utah Events April 2026: Festivals, Beer Fest, Climbing & Family Activities

Utah’s April calendar brings together festivals, outdoor gatherings, and community events across the state. From Ogden’s climbing and beer festivals to cultural celebrations, family activities, and stargazing in Midway, this lineup highlights what’s happening throughout April 2026.

April 10-11

5th Annual Craft Lake City LetterWest. Presented by Craft Lake City at Midvale Main Arts and Culture District, 7505 Holden St., Midvale. This event is a premier event celebrating calligraphy and modern hand writing. 

LetterWest is hosted by top lettering artists from Utah and around the world and will feature keynote speakers, panel discussions, a community art project and workshops. General Admission tickets are $350 and can be purchased at tickettailor. 

April 10-11

RedStone Highland Games and Festival 2026. Presented by RedStone and held at Sandtown Park, 600 N Bluff St., St. George. Games, music, bagpipes, storytellers, heritage, food, and a marketplace will be on hand. Admission is free with activities for all ages. 

April 10-12

Ogden Climbing Festival. Weber State University Outdoor programs is hosting this event to bring together climbers from all climbing disciplines and introduce them to the best of Ogden. There will be three days of events, education, service opportunities, competitions, and speakers. For a day-to-day schedule, visit their website.  

April 11 

Snow & Flow at Solitude. Explore Solitude with a one-hour snowshoe tour followed by a one hour yoga class. Participants will meet at 3:45pm at the Solitude Nordic & Snowshoe Center. The snowshoe hike will be led by an experienced guide. Great for beginners. After snowshoeing, the group will return to the Nordic Center for yoga. Admission information can be found here.

April 11

12th Annual Rotten Egg Hunt. Presented by Utah State Parks at Yuba State Park, Levan. Join in on a late Easter Holiday egg hunt. Open to all ages to run through the park collecting as many prizes as can be found. Park entrance fees apply. The hunt will be located in the Oasis Campground on the main lawn and starts at 2 pm sharp. 

April 17

Dark Sky Celebration. To be held at Wasatch Mountain State Park at Wasatch Mountain Golf Course, Midway. This event celebrates dark skies from 7 pm to 10 pm. Everyone is welcome to participate in stargazing and learning about dark skies, with hands-on activities and treats. Cost is $6 for adults and $4 for children under 11.

April 18 

2026 Ogden Beer Fest. Held from 4 pm to 10 pm featuring the craft and community of beer, along with spirits and cider. Local breweries will be on hand along with entertainment and artist studios. General admission includes event entry, a commemorative sample cup, and 5 sample tokens. Additional sample pours available for pre-purchase or on-site. To be held at The Monarch, 451 25th St., Ogden.

April 25

Firefighters’ Pancake Breakfast at Sundance. Sundance Mountain Resort will host the 2026 Pancake Breakfast to help raise funds for the North Fork Fire Department. Following the breakfast, a community meeting will be held at 11 am in the Redford Conference Center. Tickets are $15 online or $16 at the door. 

April 25

2026 Tumbleweeds Film Festival for Kids. The Tumbleweeds Festival features films about kids, by kids, and for kids. The theme this year is Passion in Action, including explorations in art, science, sports, helping others, or protecting the planet. Thanks to a partnership with Salt Lake County Library, all Tumbleweeds films will be free to attendees. Workshops are available for $25. Spots can be reserved online here . Held at the Viridian Event Center, 8030 S 1825 W, West Jordan. 

April 23-25

Green River Dirt Bike Rally. Check in will be held at 90 W Pirate Ave., Green River. This event is intended to introduce riders to trails in the San Rafael Swell and Green River area, while boosting the local economy. It will feature food, tours, and rallies.
