Eight Settlers – Opened February 2026
After two years in the making, Eight Settlers officially opened its doors on February 9th, 2026. Noticing that the downtown area had several breweries but few distilleries, the team decided to step in and fill that gap. Be sure to keep an eye out for Whiskey Wednesdays and other specialty theme nights. They have some fun plans in the works!
The Boiler Room – Opened August 2025
The Boiler Room is bringing the heat as it introduces a new concept to the nightlife scene. Its leveled DJ platform puts you at eye level, creating the feeling that you’re partying right alongside the DJ rather than watching from the crowd. Paired with Utah’s first-ever BassBoss sound system, the experience is an immersive, high-energy experience designed to pull you right into the “Heat” of the night.
Bodega – New Owner as of January
Bodega offers a unique bar experience. The upstairs offers DJ events, dancing, and electric energy all weekend. If you decide to make your way downstairs, you’ll find The Rest. Low lighting, fine dining, music on vinyl, and signature cocktails. It’s an intimate place to sip the night away with friends or a date.
Earth and Stones – Opened August 2024
Coffee by day, bar by night — what more could you ask for? By day, Earth and Stones serves freshly brewed coffee in the cutest mugs, alongside beautifully plated dishes that look just as good as they taste. As the sun sets, the space transforms into a low-lit, easygoing bar where the vibes are right and your worries fade the moment a cocktail hits your hand.
Thieves Guild Cidery – Opened October 2024
Calling all cider and mead enthusiasts! Your next adventure awaits you at Thieves Guild Cidery. Step into a world of fantasy where you can embrace your inner hero — or channel the rogue within. Join the weekly Tuesday night Dungeons & Dragons campaign to craft your own epic storyline, or test your strategy skills in a Thursday evening Magic: The Gathering League. However you choose to play, the Guild keeps the experience immersive with fantasy-themed cocktails flowing all week.
Rabbit’s Foot Brewing – Opened June 2025
Rabbit’s Foot proudly collaborates with local makers and vendors to highlight the best of what our region has to offer. Engine Room – Opened February 2026
Engine Room is Salt Lake’s newest upscale restaurant started by veterans of the restaurant scene, famous for their handcrafted cocktails, amazing steak, and fondue. The decor and ambiance are top notch; they offer a huge bar and private dining area for corporate and family events.
Felt – Opened March 2024
Felt Bar & Eatery is a 2026 restaurant and chef semifinalist for the James Beard awards. They are known for unique dishes like Filet and Marrow Tartare and seasonal cocktails. The lively, upscale atmosphere makes it a go-to spot for a night out with a focus on high-quality, flavorful food and drinks in a modern setting.
