Valentine’s Day Prix-Fixe and Special Menus at Salt Lake Restaurants

Salt Lake restaurants are offering Valentine’s Day prix-fixe menus and special dishes designed for a celebratory night out. From refined, chef-driven tasting menus to seasonal specials with optional wine pairings, these dining destinations also include select options in Park City and Deer Valley.

Well, it’s that time of year again – time to celebrate love, lust and luscious food and drink for Valentine’s Day. I usually choose to do that at home, but if you’re looking to venture out for a romantic restaurant meal on Valentine’s Day, here are some terrific options. 

At Casot, Pintxos y Vino will highlight the wine bar’s Valentine’s Sparkling Wine Tasting hosted by founder and sommelier, Scott Evans. Among the food and wine pairings are Manchego, membrillo jam, house pickles, crostini paired with Greyfriars ‘Rose’ ‘NV PINOT NOIR/PINOT MEUNIER; Ceviche with Pares Balta ‘Blanca Cuisine’ ‘19 | XARELLO/PINOT NOIR/CHARDONNAY; Shrimp Cocktail paired with Pinot-Chevauchet ‘Genereuse’ Brut Nature ‘NV | PINOT MEUNIER; and Crab Salad stuffed piquillo peppers with Krug ‘Grande Cuvee 171eme’ Brut ‘NV | PINOT NOIR/ CHARDONNAY/ MEUNIER. The event begins at 7 PM on February 14 and the cost for wine is $85 and $40 for pintxos. 

The Coffee Shop at Little America will celebrate love from February 13-15 with a special Valentine’s menu featuring a Filet Mignon & Salmon Duet, Hearts of Romaine salad, and finishing with Cupid’s Heart chocolate mousse. Special Valentine’s cocktails and mocktails at Little America’s Lucky H Bar include the Mint to Be, Cocoa Cupid, Blushing Margarita, Lucky H. Mango Lemonade, and more. 

Flanker Kitchen + Sporting Club offers “Date night, upgraded. Flanker’s Valentine’s Day menu is made for flirting, sipping, and lingering a little longer, with highlights like an 8-oz filet mignon with red wine reduction and truffle purée, rich chocolate desserts, flirty cocktails, and champagne by the glass and bottle. Equal parts romantic and fun, it’s designed for first dates, long-time loves, and anyone who wants a reason to dress up and celebrate.”

“The heart wants what it wants,” according to the folks at Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar, where they will feature a Valentine’s Day experience for two for $240. “Our Menu for Two features a shareable Sliced Porterhouse & Crab-Stuffed Lobster Tail. Each menu is paired with your choice of Roasted Strawberry Burrata or Caesar Salad to start and a luxurious Dark Chocolate Luxardo Cherry Tart for dessert. Toast to your love with our new Ultra-Violet Ube Hand-Crafted Cocktail or our suggested wine pairings.”

The folks at Goldener Hirsch in Deer Valley invite guests to “Celebrate Valentine’s Day at Goldener Hirsch, where Chef Jeff O’Neill crafts a multi-course journey through seasonal alpine flavors, paired with refined service and a romantic mountain ambiance.  $225 per adult, $85 per child 12 & under.”

The Grand America is featuring a Valentine’s Day Dinner Getaway which “pairs a one-night stay with an indulgent prix-fixe dinner for two at Laurel, available February 13th or 14th. Prefer to linger a little longer in love? The Grand Spa is offering couples packages all month long, each with a special surprise included. Whether you’re planning an intimate overnight escape or simply carving out time to reconnect, February at The Grand is made for moments together.” In addition, “From January 30th through February 16th, our Valentine’s Tea transforms the Lobby Lounge into a celebration of love and tradition. Dress in your finest and savor house-made pastries, savory tea sandwiches, and carefully chosen teas alongside an assortment of heart-shaped sweets and seasonal treats. This beloved tradition offers the perfect setting to slow down and savor the season with a special someone or friends and family alike.”

At Park City’s Grub Steak restaurant, “Begin Valentine’s dinner with a choice of baby romaine Caesar salad, wild rice & mushroom soup, or add the bottomless salad bar, before grilled lobster tail served with herb roasted asparagus.”

Feast on a special Valentine’s Day menu at Park City’s Hearth and Hill beginning with a cupid’s heart sushi roll, mains of seared Hokkaido scallops or Australian Frenched lamb chops, and love potion for dessert, a chocolate sable crumble with candied cocoa nibs, chocolate mousse dome, raspberry granita, and raspberry caramel. Hill’s Kitchen will be preparing specialty pastries and chocolate-covered strawberries. 

At Hearth and Hill in Salt Lake City, guests can enjoy a seasonal Valentine’s Day prix-fixe rooted in comforting yet polished winter dishes, with highlights like steelhead trout crudo, warm burrata salad, and entrée options including Dover sole or pan-seared hanger steak. An optional wine pairing is available to complement each course. $79.95 per guest/$35 Additional Wine Pairings

At Le Depot, “Celebrate Valentine’s Day with an elevated dining experience featuring a thoughtfully curated five-course prix fixe menu. Offered from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., perfect for couples seeking a memorable night out, this limited-seating experience promises an atmosphere of romance and sophistication in the heart of Park City.”

Voted by OpenTable as one of only 100 restaurants voted Most Romantic Restaurants in the U.S., Log Haven is extending its hours during Valentine’s weekend so that more guests can enjoy Chef Dave Jones’ special V-Day menu. The restaurant will open on Friday, February 13 at 4:30 PM and on Saturday, February 14 at 3:30 PM. 

At Park City’s Powder restaurant at the Waldorf Astoria, celebrate Valentine’s Weekend with a four-course prix fixe menu by Executive Chef Stuart Roger, showcasing refined winter ingredients and elegant main course selections. Enjoy a romantic, candlelit atmosphere complemented by specialty Valentine’s cocktails. On February 14th, live violin fills the adjacent lobby from 5-8 p.m. $155 per person. Feb.13-15

Rodizio Grill will feature a Together Forever Package for Valentine’s weekend which includes premium features on the gourmet salad bar, the Full Rodizio menu, plus a Prime Rib carving station, lamb, grilled garlic bread, croquettes, Rodizio OnFire menu items and a choice of dessert: flan, torte or cheesecake. The cost for the Together Forever Package is $129.99 per couple. 

Spencer’s Steaks & Chops is celebrating love the entire month of February with their Love is in the Rare cocktail menu, “a collection crafted for clinking glasses and romantic moments that linger just a little longer. Each drink is bold, smooth, and pairs perfectly with a cut of steak. Let’s celebrate first dates or forever kinds of love with these cocktails – shared, savored, and remembered – because at Spencer’s, love is best when it is rare, refined, and just a little intoxicating.”

The crew at STK encourages guests on Valentine’s Day to “Think Caviar Kisses, Surf & Turf with filet and lobster tail, indulgent Lobster Pasta Gratin, and a Molten Chocolate Cake that closes the night the right way. Or – make the next extra special with our Colossal Lobster. Luxurious dishes – no compromises.”

Sundance Resort is offering an inspired, multi-course tasting menu at the signature Tree Room, and a feast of gourmet pasta at the rustic Foundry Grill – two distinct date night experiences this Valentine’s Day. “Thoughtful menus at the Tree Room and Foundry Grill, paired with an award-winning wine list in a stunning mountain setting, make for the perfect Valentine’s Day celebration,” said Sundance Mountain Resort Director of Culinary/Executive Chef Alex Izatt. “Before or after dinner, we encourage guests to visit our new Library Lounge for a special toast or closing night cap in the space’s cozy, intimate atmosphere.” At The Tree Room, begin an elegant 3-course dinner with scallop risotto, parsnip, pancetta, fried leek, mascarpone, and brown butter nagé. A dry-aged Wagyu ribeye filet follows with wild mushroom agnolotti, asparagus, and bordelaise sauce, before a sweet finale of berries and chocolate trifle, macaron, and chocolate crunch. $115 per guest. At the Foundry Grill, indulge in a “build your own” pasta special for a delicious Valentine’s Day feast. Guests can select from baked manicotti, fettuccini, or penne pasta, topped with their choice of freshly made sauce including a’ la vodka with prosciutto, sundried tomato, parmesan, and basil oil; carbonara with wild mushrooms, pancetta, fried leeks, and garlic confit; or pomodoro with San Marzano tomato, basil, roasted garlic, and parmesan. Each dish is served with toasted garlic bread. $32 per guest. Chocolate strawberry tarts, chocolate mousse, ganache, and chocolate dipped strawberries will be offered à la carte. $14 per dessert.

Highlights of the Valentine’s Day menu at Tuscany include Shrimp Ceviche, Warm Brie Charcuterie, Strawberry Salad, New England Clam Chowder, Beef Tenderloin Scaloppine, Niman Ranch Braised Pork Shank, Butter Poached Sable Fish, Triple Chocolate Cheesecake, and Mascarpone Coconut Mousse. $140 per person. 

Urban Hill will feature an elevated Valentine’s Day prix-fixe showcasing refined, globally inspired flavors, with menu highlights like torched sablefish crudo and main course options including zabuton wagyu steak or five-spice Asian sea bass. Optional sommelier-selected wine pairings are available. $105 per guest/$60 Sommelier Selections.

White Horse Spirits and Kitchen is back! And for Valentine’s Day White Horse is featuring special menu items including Beef Carpaccio – Fried Oysters, Lemon Aioli, Arugula, Capers, Pecorino ($20); Seared Scallops – Miso Cauliflower Puree, Shiitake Mushroom Glaze, Mushroom Chips ($22); main dishes of Snake River Farms Zabuton – Celery Root Puree, Chocolate Espresso Beef Jus, Trumpet Mushrooms ($48) and Niman Ranch Pork Shank – White Bean Cassoulet, Braised Kale, Fennel, Creme Fraiche ($38). Dessert is Mille Feuille – White & Dark Chocolate, Raspberry, Pastry Cream ($14).
