Utah November Events & Holiday Season Guide 2025

November in Utah brings a mix of local dining events, concerts, early ski season celebrations, holiday lighting traditions, and community gatherings across the state. This guide outlines the standout moments shaping the month.

November 1-15

Ogden Eats. Visit Ogden and dine like a local in November. This event is a celebration of Ogden’s independent dining scene. Choose from three tiers, $20, $40, or $60 and pick a local Ogden restaurant for a specially selected dining experience. Go here for more information. 

November 10

Veteran’s Day Concert at The Tabernacle at Temple Square, 7 pm to 10 pm. This Concert honors veterans from the Army, Navy, Marine Corp, Coast Guard, Air Force, and Space Force. It will feature a combined choir from Granite School District and the 23rd Army Band. 

November 12

65th Annual Salute to Youth. This concert is presented at Abravanel Hall by the Utah Symphony. Young musicians who went through an audition process will play alongside the Symphony. The concert begins at 5:30 pm.

November 14

DJ + Donuts Opening Day Party at Solitude, presented by Solitude Mountain Resort at Solitude Mountain Resort. This is a kickoff for the ’25/’26 ski season. Ride the first chair of the season and get ready for more! Activities start at 8 am with free donuts while a DJ supplies the music. 

November 15

Copper Ornament Class. Join the Local Artisan Collective in Ogden, 2371 Kiesel Ave. Use simple tools and techniques to create copper ornaments. No experience necessary and supplies will be provided. Open to all ages, but children under 10 will need help from an adult. No sign up necessary. Drop-ins start at noon and continue until 7pm.

November 20

Caputo’s Chocolate Fest 2025. This event will be held at Caputo’s Market and Deli, 314 W 300 S, Salt Lake City. The event will raise funds for the Heirloom Cacao Preservation Fund, a non-profit collaboration between the Fine Chocolate Industry Association and the United States Department of Agriculture. They genetically identify strains of heirloom cacao with unique flavors to preserve them.Tickets can be purchased here

November 22

2025 Lights On! Downtown Holiday Lighting Event at The Gateway. Join in turning on the holiday lights at The Gateway. Live entertainment, hot beverages, seasonal cocktails, and food from Flanker Kitchen + Sporting Club will be available. Prizes, stilt walks, and balloon twisters will also be featured. Lights go on at 8 pm and will be on display through December 31. 

November 26

Wild Wednesday: Gobble, Gobble! All About Turkeys. Learn fun facts about turkeys and Thanksgiving, play a traditional party game and consider gratitude. Held at the Ogden Nature Center, 966 W 12th Street, Ogden. Class begins at 3:45 and is led by a teacher/naturalist for a 20 minute program. Open to all ages, free for Ogden Nature Center Members. For others admission is $6 for adults and $4 for children and seniors. 

November 27

22nd Annual Lynden Legacy Turkey Trot in Midway. This is a race with something for everyone from competitive runners to leisurely walkers and everyone in-between. All proceeds will go to the Lynden Legacy Foundation which provides resources and supports families and friends caring for loved ones with Alzheimer’s Disease and other forms of dementia. Held at Midway Town Hall, 130 W Main Street, Midway. Registration is available here.

November 27

WabiSabi’s Thanksgiving Dinner 2025. This is a free Thanksgiving Community Meal served at The Grand Center, 182 N 500 W, Moab. This is an annual free or by-donation event. Last year, more than 100 volunteers prepared and served more than 850 meals. All are welcome. Held from 12 to 5 pm.

November 28

2025 Sparkle & Shine: A Holiday Lighting Celebration. Presented by the Historic Park City Alliance at Historic Main Street, Park City. This is Park City’s Annual Holiday Light Ceremony. Park City’s Main Street will light up with lights, cheer, and holiday spirit. Music will start at 4 pm and lights go on at 5 pm.

December 3-6

Festival of Trees. The annual Festival will be at the Mountain America Expo Center, 9575 S State, Sandy. There will be holiday displays of trees, wreaths, hand-crafted gingerbread houses, and more, all available at a silent auction. Treats, Santa, and the Grinch will also be on hand. Holiday crafts will also be available for purchase. All funds raised support Primary Children’s Hospital.
