Sundance Oktoberfest

It goes without saying that we are all saddened by the recent passing of Robert Redford, who founded Sundance Resort and the Sundance Film Festival.

But life goes on, and if you’re so inclined you may want to hoist a cold brew and toast the amazing and impactful actor and environmentalist. You can do so at the Sundance Resort Oktoberfest, which continues this weekend and next: September 27-28 and October 4-5.

It’s the perfect event for lovers of pretzels, brats, pilsners and fresh mountain air. Oktoberfest at Sundance will feature a special menu served during lunch hours and both the Foundry Grill and The Owl Bar.

Featured dishes include dumplings, weiner schnitzel, Bavarian cheese dip, and of course, apfelstrudel (apple cake) all crafted in fine culinary style by the Sundance Resort food and beverage team.

In addition, this weekend (September 27 & 28) Sundance hosts the Harvest Market 2025, an annual community celebration of the harvest season, featuring carefully selected artisans and craftsmen, delicious food, live music, and activities for all ages.

The purveyors at local specialty food shop Liberty Heights Fresh will be bringing their foodie friends to Scion Cider for a special tour. Discover what sets great cider apart as you taste four hand-selected favorites from Utah’s first Certified Pommelier. These picks–ranging from crisp and classic to bold and funky–offer a window into the palate of a true cider expert, Matthew Ostrander, Utah’s FIRST Certified Pommelier.

New Gateway Merchants

The folks at The Gateway have announced the Grand Opening of a pair of new merchants.

Crazy Croffles is a unique concept that offers delectable waffles made from croissant dough with a variety of sweet and savory options. Fans of matcha will enjoy indulging in their tiramisu matcha latte or matcha ice cream Croffle. These drinks and Croffles create a delightful combo that makes every break feel special.”
