Chef Nick Zocco Defeats Bobby Flay on Food Network

If you weren’t tuned in, you might have missed that Nick Zocco – Executive Chef at Urban Hill – defeated Bobby Flay last month on Food Network’s “Beat Bobby Flay.” In an episode entitled “Is It Getting Chile In Here?” Nick won with his unique chile relleno dish featuring a lump crab filling and a black bean and New Mexico red chile sauce. Ironally, Nick previously worked at Bobby Flay’s Mesa Grill in Las Vegas.

Judges Eva Longoria and Eddie Jackson crowned Nick Zocco the winner and folks here in SLC will be happy to know that they can order the Lump Crab Chile Relleno dish which features New Mexico red chile, black bean puree, pickled onion & chile, crema and cilantro at Urban Hill. Zocco has added it to the current menu for $25.
