This fall’s Park City Wine Festival features a tempting array of wine pairing dinners featuring some of Utah’s most outstanding chefs.
Thursday, October 2 @ 7 PM: “A Tale of Two Terroirs” wine dinner features Le Depot Brasserie’s owner/chef Galen Zamarra, who was awarded a James Beard award in 2001 for Rising Star Chef of the Year. He worked in top restaurants in Paris and New York City before relocating to Utah.
Thursday, October 2 @ 7 PM: “Calistoga Uncorked” wine dinner with Seth Adams, a Pittsburgh native, and the co-owner and executive chef of Riverhorse on Main, an award-winning eclectic American restaurant. His journey to culinary school began with weekend catering jobs, eventually leading him to helm the kitchen at this renowned establishment.
Friday, October 3 @ 7 PM: “Vine to Vino” wine dinner at Five5eeds restaurant. Chef Pierson grew up with the understanding that good food will gather friends and family and that the routine sound of the smoke alarm being set off by his mother was unpleasant. Chef Pierson has cooked across the country and with chef legends such as Chef Dickie Brennan of New Orleans and has prepared meals for Kenny Chesney & Tim McGraw.
Saturday, October 4 @ 12 PM: “Sommelier’s Secrets” wine lunch with Chef Kevin Lee of KITA restaurant at Pendry Park City. A dynamic and well-versed chef, Chef Lee has led the culinary teams at several hotels and renowned restaurants in Los Angeles, including Makani in which he led the opening of in 2018, The Line Hotel, The Aster Hotel, and more. He has served as the executive chef at elite Michelin Star Restaurant Group, Centeno Hospitality and Citrin Hospitality. Originally from South Korea, Chef Kevin Lee emigrated to the United States at the age of sixteen and began his culinary journey at Le Cordon Bleu.
