2 Sundays Left for High Altitude Deer Valley Brunch
The St. Regis Deer Valley kicked off its al fresco summer Sunday brunch series on Father’s Day and now that summer has mostly whizzed by, there are just two Sundays left to enjoy the high altitude brunch buffet. It is located at the Upper Resort where Brasserie 7452 and Mountain Terrace are situated. Guests can enjoy a free 90-second Funicular ride from the Lower Funicular Building near Snow Park Lodge up to the brunch with stellar panoramic views and outstanding all-you-can-eat cuisine, courtesy of the talented St. Regis culinary team led by Executive Chef Matthew Fradera. .

My favorite first stop at the Sunday Brunch Buffet is the Seafood Station which features chilled jumbo shrimp, snow crab claws, West Coast oysters, King Crab legs, homemade cocktail sauce, drawn butter, mini Tabasco bottles, lemon wedges and more.

A fully stocked Salad Station features Caesar salad, mixed greens salad, black bean and corn salad, fresh baked breads, house dressings, and a lot more.

For meat lovers, the St. Regis Sunday Brunch offers a Carving Station with the Chef’s weekly selection of grilled or smoked prime meats, which was prime rib with au jus. when we visited.

For fans of classic brunch dishes, the St. Regis Sunday Brunch menu includes eggs Benedict, banana French toast, omelets made to order, and favorites like chicken and waffles.

Not-so-traditional brunch items include avocado toast and a poke bowl with a choice of tuna or salmon. Adult brunch guests are also invited to relax on the terrace with an iconic 7452 Bloody Mary – named for the altitude of the St. Regis – or enjoy one of the St. Regis Summer Cocktails like the refreshing “Glacier Garden” that garnishes the Roku Japanese Gin and homemade tonic cocktail with an artful array of lemon peel, strawberry and cucumber garnish. For lovers of wine, the award-winning St. Regis Wine Vault contains more than 10,000 bottles, with numerous vintages available by the glass.

Of course, you will want to indulge in the temptation-filled Dessert Station with an eye-popping assortment of cookies, pastries, cakes, tarts, chocolates and so many other sweet things.
Only two Sundays – August 24 and August 31 – remain in the St. Regis Summer Sunday Brunch series. The Summer Sunday Brunch runs from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm, priced at $85 per adult and $30 per child. Reservations are not required.
