Live Concerts at Brigham Young Historic Park and Conference Center Rooftop at Temple Square. Every Friday night (except July 4), three hour-long concerts will be held at Brigham Young Park. Event is open to the public and tickets are not required. Saturday evening concerts will be held on the rooftop of the Conference Center featuring a variety of music styles. July 9

Draper Jam 2025. Presented by Draper Parks and Recreation at the Draper Amphitheatre, 944 E Vestry Road, Draper, from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. Presenting the high school PTSA Battle of the Bands winners from across the Wasatch Front. All ages welcome. Free Admission. 

July 9-10 

Full Moon Lift Rides at Sundance Resort. This is a 45-minute ride through a nighttime landscape. Prices are $30 per person and tickets can be purchased on the Sundance website. Zip rides are also available. 

Antelope Island by Golda Hukic-Markosian.

July 11

Antelope by Moonlight Bike Ride. Presented by Discover Davis. The ride starts at 10pm with a pre-party and check-in starting at 7pm and will go from the marina to the historic Fielding Garr Ranch and back. This “Ride to Oz” will take place under a full moon. Vendors, booths, food trucks. Costume and bike decorating contests will also be online. Register at their website.

July 12-13

2025 Brighton Days at Brighton Ski Resort. Celebrating the natural and cultural history of Big Cottonwood Canyon. Sponsored by Cottonwood Canyon Foundation, The Brighton Institute, Brighton, and Solitude Resorts. This is a free event open to all, with displays and activities for kids and families. Saturday from 9am to 2pm at Brighton Resort and Sunday from 9am to 2pm at Solitude Resort. 

July 13

Lindquist Pops Concert and Fireworks 2025. Presented by Ogden Heritage Foundation and Weber State University at Weber State Duck Pond, Ogden. The Lindquist Family Symphony and Pops Concerts have entertained since 1978. This free community event found a home in Ogden thanks to John A. and Telitha E. Lindquist. Outdoor performance by the New American Philharmonic at the Ada Lindquist Plaza at Weber State. Tchaikovsky’s “1812 Overture” will be performed with a battery of 16 cannons provided by the Cannoneers of the Wasatch, followed by a fireworks display set to patriotic music. 9pm to 11pm.  

July 21-22

Days of ‘47 Float Preview at Mountain America Expo Center. View the floats created for the Days of ‘47 Parade in the air conditioned comfort of the Mountain America Expo Center. Votes are held for favorite floats for the “People’s Choice” and “Children’s Choice” awards. Admission is free. 11am to 9pm daily. 

July 24 

Days of ‘47 Parade. The parade starts at 9am at State Street and South Temple. Floats, bands, horses, clowns, and more. The parade ends at Liberty Park where events are scheduled and the fun continues, including a drone scheduled for 10pm.  

Coming up:

The annual Craft Lake City DIY Festival is coming August 8th through August 10th at the Utah State Fairpark, 155 N 1000 W. Utah’s largest local-centric art, music, science, and technology festival with over 500 local artisans, vintage vendors, youth entrepreneurs, performers and more. Hours are 5pm to 10pm on August 8, 12pm to 10pm on August 9, and 12pm to 6pm on August 10. Tickets can be purchased at craftlakecity.com 

Grillfest on Midvale’s Historic Main Street. August 22 to August 23. This is a two-day celebration of regional metal and rock, food, and local business. Created by Judicator frontman, John Yelland to commemorate “cultural revival, DIY spirit, and food-fueled party.” Yelland’s hope is this will become an annual event. Tickets available here.

The Moab Music Festival’s 33rd Season runs from August 27 to September 12, 2025, with new executive director, Mette Bryndum,includes 33 artists appearing in 20 performances in outdoor and historic venues, including grotto, ranch, and float concerts, music hikes, and rafting trips. Highlights include debuts by Sierra Hull, seven-time GRAMMY-winning bassist Edgar Meyer, People of Earth, pianist Inon Barnatan, cellist Joshua Roman, celebrity author and chef Kenji López-Alt, and a world premiere Moab Music Festival commission by composer-in-residence Viet Cuong.
