Salt Lake City’s Bambara Hosts Premier Wine Dinner

A chef, a sommelier, and a lineup of rare wines—Bambara’s one-night dinner event in downtown Salt Lake City promises more than just a meal. Here’s what to expect on June 12.

The culinary team at Bambara restaurant in the Kimpton Hotel Monaco invites guests to join Chef JV Hernandez and Certified Sommelier Josh Bolden for “an exclusive evening of good company, great food, and exceptional wines.”

According to the folks at Bambara, “This multi-course wine dinner features innovative dishes and seasonally-inspired flavors, like savory mousse, handmade pasta, delicately prepared trout, and rich, aged bison.”

“Each dish is thoughtfully paired with standout wines from California to Burgundy, perfect for wine lovers. Try a variety of the wines, handpicked for the occasion – from an elegant Sonoma sparkling wine and vibrant Chablis to a rare Burgundy Premier Cru and a rich, structured Syrah.”

The Bambara inaugural wine dinner takes place on Wednesday, June 12, 2025 and is priced at $150 per person for food and wine or $110 for food only. Reservations can be made on OpenTable.
