Repeal Brings Live Jazz and Craft Cocktails to Downtown Salt Lake City

Downtown Salt Lake just gained a new nightlife gem with the opening of Repeal, a jazz bar and restaurant from the team behind Prohibition. Located on Main Street, Repeal offers live local jazz, craft cocktails, and elevated cuisine in a fully reimagined space that once housed Bourbon House.

Fans of craft libations and jazz music will be thrilled to learn that the folks behind Prohibition bar at Fashion Place have just opened Repeal on Main Street in downtown SLC. Repeal features live local jazz, elevated dining, and the type of craft cocktails and lively atmosphere that Prohibition has become so well known for. The new hot spot for live music and libations had its grand opening on April 29th

Repeal is located in the space that was the former home to Bourbon House and is the creation of father-daughter team Kelly and Camille Howard, along with uber talented chef Joey Ferran, formerly of Cucina Wine Bar. I’m told that the Repeal team has completely transformed and redesigned the Bourbon House space.

As a lover of live jazz, I can’t wait to check out Repeal and see what Chef Ferran has in store cuisine-wise for the new cocktail bar. Stay tuned.
