Celebrate Mom at Remington Hall
I recently spent a weekend at the all new Grand Hyatt Deer Valley checking out the food and drink options there, including the new flagship resort restaurant, Remington Hall. You can read about it here in Utah Bites in a couple of weeks.
Meanwhile, you might want to consider celebrating Mother’s Day with Mom at Remington Hall with the Grand Hyatt Deer Valley’s Mother’s Day Buffet. The feast runs from 11 AM to 3 PM and includes everything from a fresh raw bar and savory carving station to sweet holiday desserts and kid-friendly favorites.

Among the brunch menu items are Tuna Poke, Halibut & Mango Ceviche, West Coast Oysters, Shrimp Cocktail, a Quiche Bar, Brunch Burritos, Charcuterie, Angel Eggs, Slow-Cooked Prime Rib, Salmon en Croute, a Kids Menu, Salads, Crepe Bar, Smoked Salmon Benedict, and a Dessert Display.
The cost for the Mother’s Day Brunch Buffet at Remington Hall is $110 for adults and $55 for children (complimentary for kids under 4). Reservations are highly recommended as seating is limited.

New Spring Menu at Mar | Muntanya
Mar | Muntanya – the signature Spanish-inspired restaurant at Hyatt Regency Salt Lake City – has released a new updated spring menu.
According to Mar | Muntanya Chef Tyson Peterson and the restaurant’s food and beverage team, “The menu brings bright, bold flavors from drinks through dessert. Start the evening with a custom Gin & Tonic by mixing and matching to find your perfect combination. Or sip on a classic cocktail, sangria, or a glass of incredible Spanish wine. Begin the meal with appetizers that blend Utah craft with Spanish flavors. Try the elk tartare tosta on local brioche with Manchego cheese or enjoy a taste of artisanal sourdough with spruce tip jelly for a unique flavor experience. For the main course, indulge in dishes from land or sea. With selections such as scallops paired with Iberico bacon, octopus cooked sous vide for 24 hours, and juniper crusted lamb, each plate brings innovative and complementary flavor pairings. After your entrée, have a sweet treat of butter cake with apricot jam, vanilla custard with lemon curd, or a flourless almond cake with lemon rosemary coulant.”

Microphones & Mimosas at La Caille
One Sunday each month – this month it happens on May 18th – La Caille restaurant in Sandy hosts a special edition of their Sunday brunch called Mimosas & Microphones: Sip Happens, “where brunch becomes a performance and every Sunday feels like a celebration.”

According to the folks at La Caille, Microphones & Mimosas features “a live DJ setting the mood with vibrant beats, open mic karaoke for bold and brilliant moments, a lavish brunch buffet curated by our chefs, signature cocktails, and sparkling wine & mimosas.”
