Sneddon Hof Germanfest Brings Authentic German Food and Music to Ogden

This January, Ogden becomes the center of German culture with the Sneddon Hof Germanfest. From breaded schnitzel and bratwurst to warm potato salad and spätzle, the menu offers a feast of traditional dishes. Guests can also enjoy lively performances from bands like Salzburger Echo and Chardon Polka Band, creating an energetic and festive atmosphere.

Fans of everything German won’t want to miss out on this year’s Sneddon Hof Germanfest, a celebration of German food, music and more this January 17 & 18 at the Ogden Eccles Conference Center. The Germanfest will be open from 11 am to 9 pm each day. 

A la carte menu items include breaded pork schnitzel, jãgerschnitzel, knackwurst, bratwurst, frankfurters, warm and cold German potato salad, sauerkraut, rotkohl, spätzle with brown mushroom gravy, green salad, macaroni salad, kids’ meals, sodas and more. Beer will also be available. 

Live music will be provided by Salzburger Echo, B&B All Stars Band, and Chardon Polka Band.

New Deer Valley Dinner Delivery Service

Hungry skiers and local food lovers can now savor the tastes of Deer Valley Resort at the convenience of their doorstep with the new delivery menu from three Deer Valley to-go dinner menus, The Brass Tag, Deer Valley Pizza Company and Deer Valley Soups & Chilis. 

A selection of entrees from The Brass Tag, as well as wood-fired pizzas, Deer Valley Turkey Chili with all the accompaniments, will be available daily for delivery via DoorDash from 5 to 9:30 p.m. daily to locals and guests staying in the Park City area and greater Summit County this winter season. 

“These specialty dinner delivery menus give guests the opportunity to enjoy our award-winning dishes in the comfort of their own homes or accommodations,” said Deer Valley Resort Executive Chef Peter Menteer. “Convenient ordering with our delivery partners takes the hassle out of dinner and allows guests to spend more time enjoying Deer Valley’s famed culinary treats on their terms.” 

Menu items from The Brass Tag, Deer Valley Soups & Chili, and Deer Valley Pizza Company are now available for delivery through DoorDash, including Brick Oven Garlic Bread, Caesar Salad, TBT Green Salad, Deer Valley Turkey Chili, Elk Chili, a selection of house-made pizzas including Three Cheese, Smoked Margherita and Pepperoni, hearty entrees of Salmon Puttanesca, Chicken Parmesan and Butter Poached New York Strip Steak, and classic desserts such as cheesecake, carrot cake and chocolate chip cookies.

Martin Woods Wine Dinner at Urban Hill

Martin Woods is an Oregan artisan winery hidden in the oak-forested Coast Range foothills near the town of McMinnville, a neighborhood advantageously influenced by cool Pacific ocean air. The winery is also the home of owner/winemaker, Evan Martin, known for his patient, meticulous winemaking style. 

On Thursday, January 30th, 2025 starting at 6 pm, Executive Chef Nick Zocco and his team at Urban Hill will host a special Martin Woods wine dinner ($180 pp – $120/food and $60/wine).
