MEALS FOR MOM: Where to Dine Out on Mother’s Day 2022

Here are some great restaurant options for treating mom to a marvelous meal on Mother’s Day in Salt Lake City and beyond.

I’m sure you haven’t forgotten, but Mother’s Day 2022 is just around the corner, Sunday, May 8th. If you’re looking to take mom out for brunch, lunch or dinner on Mother’s Day, it’s time to get on the stick and make a reservation; restaurant bookings for Mom’s Day are filling up fast. Here are some great restaurant options for treating mom to a marvelous meal on Mother’s Day. 

Archibald’s Restaurant in West Jordan’s Gardner Village invites you to celebrate Mother’s Day early, on Saturday, May 7th. From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Archibald’s will offer a special breakfast menu created just for mom and the family. Walk-in seating is available or reserve now by calling 801.566.6940.

At The Gateway, Flanker Kitchen + Sporting Club will host a Mother’s Day Edition Champagne Party Brunch on May 8th featuring $100 Veuve Clicquot Bottles, $5 mimosas, and D.J. Bangarang from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar – which is also located at The Gateway – will offer a special 3-course menu for Mother’s Day, available Saturday, May 7 and Sunday, May 8, starting at $85 and featuring entrees such as Filet Mignon and Lobster Tail Scampi or Crab-Stuffed Shrimp. Kids 3-course menus start at $16.  

Franck’s will host a Mother’s Day dinner featuring dishes such as Chilled Apricot Gazpacho; 110 Degree Scottish Salmon; Prime Beef Tenderloin Tataki; and Burnt Marshmallow Tart. $115/adults; $60 kids 12 & under. 

Treat the special Mom in your life to a memorable Mother’s Day Brunch celebration at Laurel Brasserie & Bar in The Grand America Hotel. Brunch is from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. (last seating) and is priced at $75/adults; $35.70/children 5-12 years; complimentary for children 4 and under. 

Chef Dave Jones and his team at Log Haven invite you and mom to join them for Mother’s Day Supper, from noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday, May 8. The 3-course menu begins with a choice of Cipollini Onion and Asparagus Soup or Bloomsdale Spinach Salad. Entree options include Manhattan Cut New York Steak; Grilled Salmon; Grilled Duroc Pork Chop; Parmigiano Reggiano Risotto; or Grilled Organic Chicken Breast with side dishes. For dessert there’s Strawberry Panna Cotta; New York Style Cheesecake; or Chocolate Ganache Tart. Optional wine pairings are also available. $75/adults; $45/children.

At the Oasis Cafe, Mother’s Day Brunch runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. with a wide selection of hot and cold entrees including Prime Rib, Maple/Mustard Glazed Salmon, Cheese Blintzes, Crab Cakes, Chicken Enchiladas, Petite Omelets, Salad selections, Pastries, Desserts, a Chocolate Fountain, and more. $38/adults; $18/children.  

Mother’s Day at Pago on Main features a brunch buffet filled with brunch, lunch and dinner standards, plus Mimosas, Bloody Mary’s, Mojitos and more. $42/per person. 

Rodizio Grill & Brazilian Steakhouse will be celebrating Mother’s Day on both Saturday, May 7 and Sunday, May 8. They’ll be featuring their regular dinner menu including unlimited Brazilian sides, gourmet salads and rotisserie-grilled meats, plus ribeye and salmon. One select dessert is also included per adult. Plus, mom will receive a special offer for a future visit. For Mother’s Day weekend the Full Rodizio adult price is $44.99 per person. 

Tucanos Brazilian Grill in SLC will honor moms with special Mother’s Day selections such as Prime Rib, Bacon-Wrapped Center-Cut Sirloin, Grilled Shrimp, Hand-Dipped Chocolate Truffles and more, including fresh carnations for mom. Mother’s Day lunch ($24.95) is available Friday, May 6 and Dinner ($34.95) is served Friday and Saturday, May 6 & 7. 

At Tuscany, Mother’s Day Brunch buffet items include Chilled Crab Legs & Shrimp, Prime Rib, Roasted Lamb, Honey-Glazed Ham, Gourmet Omelet Bar, Fresh Salads, House Made Breads & Desserts, plus breakfast items like Eggs Benedict or Florentine and House Made Waffles with Whipped Butter and Maple Syrup. $95/adults; $40 kids 12 and under. 

At The Lodge at Blue Sky Ranch, Executive Chef Galen Zamarra and his talented team at Yuta restaurant will host an elevated 3-course brunch to celebrate mom with an inspired menu from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. $68 per person, plus tax & gratuity.
