On Sunday, November 14th, the newly opened Pago on Main restaurant will host a Winemakers’ Dinner featuring Evan Lewandowski of Ruth Lewandowski wines, beginning at 6:00 p.m. You might recall that Evan was making his natural wines here in Salt Lake City before relocating to Healdsburg in Sonoma County.

Evan will be on hand at Pago on Main on Sunday evening to celebrate the Fall release of his wines. The tasting menu is priced at $65 per person, and the wine pairings are $45, plus tax and gratuity. You can reserve your spot by clicking here. Pago owner Scott Evans advises that “Due to new DABC regulations guests can only purchase food in advance and pay for wine at the event.”

The five course tasting menu begins with Yellowtail Amberjack Crudo paired with Elimelech ‘20, Riesling, followed by Vadouvan Croquettes and Tatto ‘20, Riesling. Venison Flatbread with smoked onion fondue will be paired with MontepuliciaNONO Lot 3, Montepulciano, followed by a pasta course of Wild Boar Ragu with polenta, red wine, and Parmesan, paired with L Stone ‘19, Sangiovese. For dessert, there is “Fancy Soft Serve.”

Ruth Lewandowski wines are as unique as the cuisine at Pago is, so this should make for a very interesting and delectable evening.
