Tea Shop that Serves Wine in Sugar House, Drag Trivia Night in Holladay and New Beer Garden in Deer Valley

Tea Zaanti – Events, Wine & More

Tea Zaanti Cafe is a combination tea shop and wine bar/cafe that believes in sustainability and the three Ps: People, Planet, Profit. And, owners Scott and Becky believe in promoting peace “one cup at a time.” Wine at Tea Zaanti is available by the bottle or in single serving cans, and in addition to teas, coffee, chai, matcha and such, they also offer a “Simple Eats” menu of charcuterie, sandwiches, soup, muffins, sweet treats and more. 

Mark your calendar and sign up for emails from Tea Zaanti to learn about events like the Sugar House Art Walk from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday, July 9th and live music on the patio featuring Cherry Thomas. That will happen from 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, July 10th.  

Wigs & Pigs @ Pig Kitchen

On July 15th, starting at 6 p.m., Pig Kitchen (Pig & A Jelly Jar in Holladay) will be the venue for Wigs and Pigs – their fabulous drag trivia evening game night. The event will be hosted by the one and only Sequoia, with great prizes, $5 chicken & waffles, tasty dry cocktails and tons of fun. 

The Pig Kitchen courtyard is open during Wigs and Pigs, selling dry cocktails and refreshers. And, guests can learn more about CBD Oil and dry cocktails as there will be a vendor booth in the courtyard. The courtyard is also open on the weekends featuring Pig & A Jelly Jar’s sister concept, WB’s Eatery, featuring coffee, dry cocktails, refreshers and sandwiches.

Portions of proceeds from ticket sales and menu specials donated to GLITS! GLITS creates holistic solutions to the health and housing crises faced by LGBTQIA+ individuals experiencing systemic discrimination at intersecting oppressions impacted by racism and criminalization, through a lens of harm reduction, human rights principles, social justice and community empowerment, imbued with a commitment to empowerment and pride in finding solutions in our own community. Head out to Pig & a Jelly Jar Holladay (AKA Pig Kitchen) to meet Sequoia, and the whole Wigs and Pigs Cast, all while benefiting such a wonderful organization, and a local LGBTQ female owned business.

St. Regis Opens Beer Garden

The St. Regis Deer Valley has launched a new Beer Garden, an outdoor venue with lawn games including Spikeball and Cornhole, food, fun and libations and the St. Regis’s lush Grand Lawn. 

According to the St. Regis Deer Valley, “The Beer Garden, open every Thursday from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM throughout the summer, is open-air with casual seating including bistro tables, low tables and benches that accommodate groups of friends or families. A perfect outdoor place to meet, the Beer Garden will offer light fare including churros, house-made chips, soft pretzels with gourmet cheeses and a selection of sustainably caught oysters that arrive fresh each morning. Lawn games include Spikeball, Ladders, Cornhole, oversized Connect 4 and Bocce Ball.”

“A perfect venue in which to enjoy Park City’s legendary beautiful summer afternoons and early evenings, The St. Regis Deer Valley Beer Garden is a sublime spot to gather with family or friends to grab a refreshment, try one of the Resort’s new Signature beers, indulge in fresh oysters, homemade churros and a spirited Cornhole competition,” said Zachary Lippincott, General Manager of Restaurants at The St. Regis Deer Valley.
