Stoneground Italian Kitchen is pleased to introduce a new Sous Chef as the newest member of the Stoneground team, Teo Cruz. Teo has 20 years of restaurant cooking experience in both Salt Lake City and in Mexico.

In addition to the inspired Italian fare at Stoneground, such as freshly made pastas and pizzas, Chef Cruz will be creating a ceviche special every weekend. Last weekend, Cruz’s scallop ceviche was featured. Check Stoneground’s Facebook page to see what’s on the menu for this weekend.

Price Greek Festival 2021

In 2020, the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church in Price, Utah made the difficult decision to cancel their annual Greek Festival. Well, they are happy to announce that the 2021 Greek Festival in Price will take place on July 9th & 10th from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

This won’t be exactly the Greek Festival of the past, since this one will be held in compliance with the Southeastern Utah Health District guidelines for Covid-19. However, this year you’ll be able to pick up some scrumptious Greek cuisine and take it to go. For $20 guests will get a Greek platter that includes one entree (gyro, souvlaki or greek chicken) and four sides (rice pilaf, dolmathes, tiropita or fasolia). In addition, there are Greek pastries boxed and available to go, including kourambiethes, finikia, baklava, koulourakia and tsoureki.
