Alpenglobes @ Stein’s

The COVID-19 pandemic has forced restaurateurs and other business people to get creative in order to keep customers safe. One solution is yurt dining, which was launched this week at the St. Regis Deer Valley. Another is the new Alpenglobes now available on the deck at Stein Eriksen Lodge

Stein’s has installed four life-size Alpenglobes on the deck of the Mountain Lodge. Each clear dome is climate-controlled and fully enclosed, offering 360 degree panoramic views of the slopes surrounding Stein’s. The Alpenglobes are Bluetooth enabled and have interior controls for lighting, ventilation and heat, allowing guests to select their own music, customized mood lighting and temperature.

“We are thrilled to be the only Deer Valley property to offer such a unique experience with the addition of these custom outdoor dining Alpenglobes,” said Russ Olsen, CEO of Stein Collection. “Our guests will have the opportunity to comfortably relax and be pampered with world-class dining and service in this majestic alpine setting.”

The Alpenglobes are available to guests for rental for breakfast, lunch, apres ski and dinner dining periods (weather permitting). The reservation fee is $200 for a 90-minute dining experience in one globe which seats up to 6 people and can be booked through the restaurant host stand at (435) 645-6455. According to Stein Eriksen Lodge, “For the health and safety of our guests, each Alpenglobe will be thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and ventilated between each reservation.”
