Veneto To Go

I love dining at Veneto Ristorante Italiano, which is one of Utah’s most authentic Italian restaurants. However, if you prefer not to eat in restaurants these days, did you know that you can enjoy Veneto cuisine in your own home? Yep. Veneto offers full take-home dinners to go as well as antipasti, pasta, pizza, sides, salads, main courses, desserts and beverages to indulge in at home.

Bigoli Carbonara with Guanciale

According to Veneto owners Marco and Amy Stevanoni, “Eggplant Parmesan, a favorite among many is back, exclusively on the VENETO TO-GO menu. Also, a new pizza: Pizza con Salsiccia, Radicchio e Cipola Rossa (tomato sauce, sausage, radicchio & red onions) +4 other pizza options. Pasta updates include spaghetti w/red onion & anchovy sauce / Maccheroncini w/mushrooms & sausage sauce.”

Personally, I find it hard to resist Veneto’s Gnocchi di Patate, Gorgonzola e Noci (potato gnocchi with gorgonzola and walnuts). It’s richly satisfying.

Brunch Returns to Manoli’s

In my opinion, no one does Greek-inspired cuisine in Utah better than Manoli’s. Well, if you’ve been missing brunch service at Manoli’s during the past few months, I have good news. Starting on October 17th, Manoli’s will be open for brunch every Saturday and Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Brunch menu items at Manoli’s range from Biscuits and Gravy (with loukaniko sausage gravy) and Vegetarian Polenta Cake, to Lamb Burgers, Wagyu Steak & Eggs, Daily Quiche, Pantzaria salad and much more.

According to Manoli Katsanevas, they’ll also be offering Manoli’s’ full brunch menu online for take out. Reservations can be made on the Manoli’s website and for parties of 5 or more, please call the restaurant at 801-532-3760.
