It’s hard to believe that it’s already been two years since SaltFire Brewing Co. opened to the public. But yep, it was two years ago May 15th. So, Happy Anniversary SaltFire!
The folks from SaltFire say that under normal circumstances they’d have thrown a big shindig to celebrate their 2nd anniversary. They say that “things being the way they are, we’ll just have to put those plans on hold a little while longer. However, that doesn’t mean we can’t celebrate in other ways.”
Two years ago May 15th owner and founder Ryan Miller’s SaltFire Brewery opened its doors with a small tasting room and bottles to go. Last week they released their 3rd Mobius Trip: Fate Bell. According to the brewers, “This blonde ale was aged in Sotol (think mescal or tequila but different) barrels from Desert Door Distillery in Texas, then we added lime peel and salt from Utah’s own Real Salt to make, what we think, is an awesome Gose style beer with delicious margarita flavors and Sotol notes on both the nose and palate.” It weighs in at 7.5 ABV.
Only 500 bottles were produced, so hurry over to SaltFire Brewery to get your hands on one of them.
