Squatters Brilliant Bier

Concurrent with the recent legislative change in Utah that allows stronger beer to be sold at grocery stores and convenience markets, Squatters has released a new light-bodied, German-style Pilsner called Brilliant Bier German Style Pilsner. I love a well-made Pilsner and this one is bright and lively tasting, made with sweet malt and Noble German hops. It has a slightly floral aroma and is very crisp – a good candidate to pair with a wide range of foods. It’s a slam-dunk with cheese fondue or raclette.

“We went back to the drawing board on this one,” said Squatters’ Chief Operating Officer, Adam Curfew. “Our goal was to make a beautiful German-style Pilsner and that’s exactly what we did. From the European hop aroma to the crisp clean finish, this beer will make your mouth water even when it’s still full of beer.”
