Creative Energies is a certified solar energy installation company that was founded by Andy Tyson and Scott Kane. Both are former environmental educators from the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS) and were keenly aware of the challenges of climate change and poor air quality. Creative Energies was established in 2000, and since forming, has been actively installing grid connected solar energy systems for a variety of customers in Utah, Wyoming and Idaho. Creative Energies employs their own in-house electrical engineers, electricians and install teams who bring solar energy online to ranches, homes and businesses like Publik Coffee Roasters on 975 S West Temple in Salt Lake City.

Customers who choose to invest in solar energy tend to do so for different reasons ranging from frustration with utility rates to environmental benefits. In recent years, many companies have sprung up and gotten into the renewable energy game. However, Creative Energies, which has been around for about 16 years, installs and stands by every solar energy system they sell.
